Fairfax Woman Wins $100,000 in Virginia Lottery

Bonnie Hauther matched all five numbers in the Saturday night drawing to win the game's top prize.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Bonnie Hauther and her husband may now be able to take a honeymoon. The Fairfax woman said that’s one of the possible results of her winning $100,000 in the Virginia Lottery’s Cash 5 game.

Hauther matched all five numbers in the Saturday night drawing to win the game’s top prize, according to a news release from the Virginia Lottery.

“I couldn’t believe it,” she said. “I was just numb!” Those winning numbers were 11-22-25-29-30. She bought the winning ticket at the 7-Eleven at 9617 Fairfax Boulevard in Fairfax.
