Fatal Motorcycle Wreck on I-66 in Fairfax
The 28-year-old victim, of Arlington, lost control of the bike early Wednesday, according to Virginia State Police.

FAIRFAX, Va. — A motorcycle rider was killed in a crash on Interstate 66 early Wednesday, according to Virginia State Police.
The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Sohail Khawaj, 28, of Arlington. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to state police, Khawaj was driving his Yamaha YZFR6 motorcycle at 12:36 a.m., heading west on I-66 near mile marker 54.

He reportedly lost control of the bike and ran off the right side of the interstate, striking a guardrail several times.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
