Herndon Man Faces Multiple Weapon Charges In Fair Oaks Larceny Case
Fairfax County police arrested a 21-year-old Herndon man on multiple weapon charges Saturday night in Fair Oaks, according to authorities.
FAIR OAKS, VA — A 21-year-old Herndon man is facing multiple weapon charges after he was arrested Saturday night as part of a Fair Oaks larceny investigation, according to authorities.
Officers responded around 11:15 p.m. to the 11200 block of James Swart Circle to investigate the report of a larceny
"The complainant reported that suspects who previously stole from the store returned and were believed to be stealing merchandise again," according to the incident report. "Officers located a male suspect and the man fled on foot.

Following a brief foot pursuit, officers took Antoin Moore of Centreville into custody. As part of the investigation, officers searched Moore and recovered a firearm with an extended magazine and a serial number that had been removed, according to police.
Moore was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he was charged with possession of a concealed weapon, possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number, possession of an extended magazine, and two counts of obstruction of justice, police said. Moore was then held without bond.

Moore was arraigned Monday morning in Fairfax County General District Court and had a bond hearing on Tuesday morning, according to court records. A preliminary hearing was set for March 18, 2026.

All five charges Moore is facing are Class 1 misdemeanors. If he is convicted on any of these charges, he faces a possible sentence of up to 12 months in jail and/or a fine of up to $2,500, under the Code of Virginia. He remains in police custody.
