AAA is reaching out to residents in Virginia and down the coast to beware of vehicles that were flood-damaged in Hurricane Sandy that are starting to pop up for sale. Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell has announced his statewide tour, “This Commonwealth of Opportunity,” recently – and the tour will bring him into the neighborhood this Thursday morning for a talk at George Mason University’s Mason Hall, all about higher education policy reform. GMU is one of several public universities in Virginia that recently announced it will be raising tuition and fees in the fall, and discussions about rising student loan interest rates are still taking place in Washington.
