Weapons Charge Filed Following Dispute Over Parking: ACPD

ARLINGTON, VA — A 31-year-old Arlington man is facing multiple charges, including a weapons violation, stemming from an argument over parking outside a residential building in the Arlington Mill area, police said.

Officers from the Arlington County Police Department were dispatched to the 5100 block of Seventh Road South for the report of a man brandishing a firearm, according to the incident report.

One of the victims told police she was inside her vehicle when the suspect came up and started to argue with her about the parking of her vehicle. The man then hit the vehicle’s windshield, damaging it, and walked away.

The second victim told the officers he came out of the residential building to confront the suspect, but the man made threats and waved a firearm before he entered the building, police say.

No injuries were reported.

The officers located and arrested the suspect, who police identified as Cameron Sabir Beach. Beach was charged with brandishing and destruction of property. During their investigation, the officers recovered a firearm.
