• Park authority rolls back boulders blocking field at West Falls Church park (ffxnow.com) — If you use Roundtree Park’s big open field in West Falls Church, the Fairfax County Park Authority is now removing the boulders that suddenly blocked it in late December. Officials say the rocks were meant to discourage unpermitted mowing, but after residents complained, trucks arrived to clear them so informal soccer and other play can continue.
