Fredericksburg Eatery Among 64 VA Winners On Wine Spectator's 2025 Restaurant Awards

Wine Spectator recognized a Fredericksburg restaurant for serving a high-quality, diverse array of wines.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Sixty-four restaurants in Virginia have been recognized for their wine programs, including one from Fredericksburg. They join more than 3,800 establishments worldwide as winners in Wine Spectator’s 2025 Restaurant Awards.

Award winners are from all 50 states and more than 80 countries and territories. Awards are given across three categories: Award of Excellence, presented to 2,010 restaurants; the Best of Award of Excellence, presented to about 1,704 restaurants; and the Grand Award, presented to 97 restaurants, including Virginia's The Inn at Little Washington.

Wine Spectator presented Fahrenheit 132 at 318 William St. in Fredericksburg a Best of Award of Excellence. Specializing in serving American fare, the restaurant has been an award-winner since 2018.

Fiola in Washington, D.C. also received a Grand Award this year.

"Fabio Trabocchi is a leading force in Washington, D.C.’s Italian restaurant scene," Wine Spectator said. "A short stroll from the National Mall, his flagship venue brings superior Italian labels and authentic regional cuisine to the heart of the capital city."

“It is an honor to have our hard work and passion for wine recognized by Wine Spectator, and we are thrilled to be acknowledged alongside some of the greatest wine restaurants in the region," said Grayum Vickers, wine director at Award of Excellence winner Lillian in Richmond.

Wine Spectator said the Award of Excellence winners generally have a wine list of at least 100 vintages, while the Best of Award of Excellence winners generally have at least 350 selections. The Grand Award winners have 1,000 or more selections, presenting diners with a depth of vintages from some of the world’s most acclaimed winemakers.
