Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania Schools Make Weather Decisions for Monday, Jan. 9
The potential for refreeze on wet roads, and lingering ice from Saturday's storm means a delay for some area students.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Main roads are mostly clear across the Fredericksburg region, but some neighborhood street still had snow and ice as of Sunday afternoon. Also, cold temperatures overnight are expected to turn wet roads into icy threats.
Schools in Fredericksburg have already made a decision about Monday morning schedules.
Spotsylvania County Public Schools: All Schools will be closed on Monday, January 9, 2017. 12-month employees Code 2 as safety permits.

Fredericksburg City Public Schools will have a 2 hour delay for Monday, January 9, 2017. Check for updates on Facebook.
All Stafford County Public Schools will open two hours late on Monday, January 9, 2017. SCPS will reassess inclement weather conditions at 7:15 a.m. There are no AM preschool classes. There is no change to PM preschool classes. Check for updates on Facebook.
