- The 10th annual Chocolate Walk is happening this weekend in downtown Harrisonburg. Walk around dozens of shops and vendors and try local restaurants' takes on infusing chocolate into what they do best. Tickets range between $15 and $25. The event is supporting The Collins Center. (WHSV)
- The Harrisonburg Police Department (HPD) has launched an investigation after a man came into the hospital with a gunshot wound. Yesterday morning, a 24-year-old man arrived at Sentara RMH with a gunshot wound. After HPD was informed of the incident (and that it took place around Harrisonburg) at around 6:15 a.m., officers decided to launch an investigation. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Crime Solvers. (WHSV)
- James Madison University's softball team lost on Sunday against the Ragin' Cajuns. The No. 25-ranked Louisiana softball team completed a three-game sweep of James Madison at Veterans Memorial Park. With their win, they claimed the series sweep in the first-ever Sun Belt matchup between the two nationally-recognized programs. (KATC News)
