A Doublewide, Texas Christmas Opens at Court Square Theater June 28
Celebrate the yuletide early at Court Square Theater (CST) this summer with A Doublewide, Texas Christmas.
HARRISONBURG, VA – Celebrate the yuletide early at Court Square Theater (CST) this summer with A Doublewide, Texas Christmas. The outrageous comedy by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten focuses on the holiday season in the newest — and tiniest — town in Texas.
Performances are Friday-Saturday, June 28-July 6 at 7:30 p.m. with 3 pm matinees on Saturday and Sunday, June 29-July 7.
Doors open 30 minutes prior to each performance. Advance tickets ($20; $25 at door) are now available online at courtsquaretheater.org or by calling 540.433.9189.

As Christmas approaches, the 10 residents of Doublewide, Texas find themselves in a heap of trouble and may lose their official status as a town. Maybe, just maybe, if they can win the countywide Battle of the Mangers, their holiday will be saved.
Directed by Anne Taesch Fitzgerald, the cast features Diane Kester as Big Ethel Satterwhite, Karen Aspinwall as Georgia Dean Rudd, Rachel Sites as Lark Barken, David Lusk as Haywood Sloggett, Gail Arthur as Patsy Price, Tom "TK" Kernan as Norwayne "Baby” Crumpler, Rosalind Collins as Joveeta Crumpler, Helen Nafziger as Caprice Crumpler, and J.P. Gulla as Nash Sloggett.

Roz Collins is producer and assistant director, with Shellie McHenry as stage manager. Lighting designer is Brian Vogel and TK Kernan is set designer.
Located at 41-F Court Square in downtown Harrisonburg, Virginia, Court Square Theater is operated by Arts Council of the Valley (ACV).
