Mr. Faught is on the Sentara RMH Breast Cancer Committee Board of Directors, a hospital located in Harrisonburg, VA. He is widely known for: • Raising money or providing services for Sentara RMH Foundation, our local American Cancer Society via Relay for Life, etc., supporting Hope Distributed non-profit, and other means, etc. • Annually collecting about 1,200 pairs of socks and underwear for Sentara RMH Pediatric Ward • Annually participates in “Breast Cancer Month” and local “Day of Caring” by donating free oil changes, parts, services, labor and facility use. He solicits many door prizes and provide breakfast and lunch items to those taking advantage of free oil changes for “Breast Cancer Survivors” on the designated day in October each year. Steven is on the Sentara RMH Foundation Board and works on Sentara RMH “Be An Angel” Breast Cancer Campaign. All in all, he has provided 120 services to cancer patients alone. • Provides free Driver Safety Courses and demonstrates minor car maintenance to recent high school and college student graduates • Provides an annual free breakfast to First Responders at both locations Many individuals in our area are of limited income such as Senior Citizens, those that fall into the ALICE category, those at or below the poverty level, and those with high medical bills, are in need of those auto servicing donations. Often children received at Sentara RMH often don’t come with clean socks and underwear. In addition, fundraising and personal monetary donations go to supporting locals in our community through the Sentara RMH Foundation, American Cancer Society, and other local charities like Hope Distributed he supports.
