  1. Harrisonburg High School students walked out of class on Monday afternoon in support of the family of a slain classmate. Calour Fields, 17, was shot and killed around 12 a.m. on Saturday, Apr. 15, near Newberry Lane just south of the Harrisonburg city line. Students gathered after 2 p.m. at the school’s football field to honor Fields' love for the sport. Many of them wore red – Fields' favorite color. (WMRA Public Radio)
  2. Remote Area Medical (RAM) is holding a free, two-day clinic May 6-7. RAM, a major nonprofit provider of pop-up clinics delivering free dental, vision, and medical care to those in need, will be set up at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds. Dental, vision, and medical services will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. Services available will include dental cleanings, dental fillings, and more. (Northern Virginia Daily)
  3. Three Notch’d Brewing Company is recalling two drinks due to product quality complaints. Brewmasters is recalling a few canned batches for "King of Clouds" and "40 Mile IPA" because of reports of a plasticky flavor profile. Anyone in possession of the beer products prepared in the following date ranges can swap them out for a free replacement. (NBC 29)
