Graffiti Vandals Hit South Lakes High School Again

'H-Town' was spray-painted over the 2014 senior class Spirit Wall sometime over the weekend.

School and law enforcement officials are investigating yet another graffiti incident at South Lakes High School.
Sometime over the weekend, the newly painted Class of 2014 Spirit wall was defaced with graffiti. The spray paint was in red and black and said "H-town," which many believe is meant to represent Herndon High School.

Members of the SLHS senior class painted their names on the wall, an annual school tradition, prior to Friday's home game against Herndon. The Seahawks won the game 10-7.

Several weeks ago, graffiti was painted in athletic facilities at both schools, including the new turf fields at South Lakes. Police have not yet identified the perpetrators, and a $1,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the vandals.
Prior to Friday night's annual crosstown game, the Baron Cameron Bowl, students from both schools released a video encouraging the two schools to enjoy a "friendly feud" rather than a hateful rivalry, and to "keep it tame."
