Herndon Man Wins $1,000 Per Week For Rest Of His Life

A Herndon man will get $1,000 every week for the rest of his life after winning big with the lottery.

HERNDON, VA -- A Herndon man who had his father pick up a lottery ticket for him just won $1,000 per week for the rest of his life.

The man, who asked to remain anonymous, had his father pick up a Cash4Life from the Virginia Lottery for him, as he often does, but this time his father called to say that he had fantastic news: the ticket won the second highest prize possible of $1,000 weekly for life, according to a statement from the Virginia Lottery.

He had the winning numbers of 3-6-8-9-35, missing only the cash ball number of 4.
