HERNDON, VA -- Police are investigating after three masked individuals entered a Herndon store and stole wine and e-cigarettes.

The three subjects -- police did not offer any description of them -- entered a business in the 700 block of Van Buren Street at around 3:10 p.m. on April 14, walked behind the counter, and took an "unknown number of e-cigarettes and four bottles of wine before leaving the store," according to a report from the Herndon Police Department.

The subjects fled down a bike trail, possibly on bicycles, police added. The case is still under investigation.
