Armed Robbery Friday at Springfield Business: Police
The suspect implied he had a weapon and took cash from the register, police said.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Police report a Springfield business was robbed Friday morning by a suspect who implied he had a weapon. Police did not identify the business that was robbed.
The armed robbery took place Friday morning at about 10:35 a.m., in the 6100 block of Backlick Road (see map below for approximate location of robbery), police said.
The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and fled on foot, according to police. He was described as Middle Eastern, in his mid 20s, wearing a black knit cap and a black pea coat, police said.
