Credit Card Theft: Suspect Used Stolen Cards at Springfield Town Center, Police Say
Fairfax County Police are hoping that someone recognizes suspect who they say stole credit cards, used them at shopping center.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County Police detectives at the Franconia District Police Station are investigating a case of credit card theft. On Wednesday, Dec. 21, a man went into a business in the 5300 block of Shawnee Road (see map below) and took a wallet from a desk, according to police. Credit cards from that wallet were then used to purchase items at several businesses at Springfield Town Center. Surveillance video captured images of the suspect (pictured below).

Police say the suspect is described as a black man, approximately 60 years old and around 5 feet 4 inches tall.
If you recognize this suspect, police ask that you contact Detective Matt Bestick at (703) 922-0894.

- You have seen this individual in your neighborhood
- You have any information regarding this incident
Remember, the information you have, regardless of how trivial you feel it may be, could be the critical link in solving this case, police say.
