Fairfax Connector To Join Metro's Free Bus Transfer Fare
Fairfax Connector will join Metro in providing free bus transfers to and from Metrorail starting Sept. 5.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — Fairfax Connector will participate in the free bus transfer to or from Metrorail planned by the DC Metro system.
Starting Sept. 5, Fairfax Connector or Metrobus bus rides will be free when transferring to or from Metrorail. The free ride comes in the form of a $2 discount, which covers most bus fares. The only exception is Fairfax Connector or Metrobus Express Service, which gets the $2 discount from the total fare.
The discount will also be applied to the Wolf Trap Shuttle - Route 480 between the West Falls Church Metro and Wolf Trap, which has a regular fare of $5. The fare with the discount is $3.
