Kingstowne Resident Thankful For Pickleball, Community Centers And Neighborly Connection

Kingstowne, VA — Thanksgiving is the perfect time to pause and reflect on what brings us joy — from family and friends to meaningful traditions and everyday moments. This year, Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to spotlight the thankful moments that bring our communities together.

What are you most thankful for this year?

All my pickleball friends — Franconia Center and GW Rec Center outdoors. I'm very grateful for my gym family at Results Fitness. I also love my Lake Devereaux community and the dogs and families we get to see. I live in a community of wonderful people here in Kingstowne/Alexandria.

Why does this mean so much to you?

Variety of people and well-run community centers.

How has this made a difference in your 2025?

I've progressed in my fitness and skills ,and these people have enriched my life almost daily.

What do you wish others knew about what you’re thankful for?

Recreational sports like pickleball have other social benefits.
