KINGSTOWNE, VA—For snow lovers, the first winter storm of 2019 didn't disapoint. In fact some areas got close to a foot of snow during the weekend of Jan. 12-13.

To mark the occasion, we asked Kingstowne-Rose Hill Patch readers to send in their photos of the snow in their neighborhoods. You answered with images of snow-covered landscapes, wildlife paying visits, kids and dogs playing, and measurements of the snowfall.
