First Snow Of 2019: Photos From Kingstowne
What does the first snow of 2019 look like in your neighborhood? We asked, and Patch readers answered.

KINGSTOWNE, VA—For snow lovers, the first winter storm of 2019 didn't disapoint. In fact some areas got close to a foot of snow during the weekend of Jan. 12-13.
To mark the occasion, we asked Kingstowne-Rose Hill Patch readers to send in their photos of the snow in their neighborhoods. You answered with images of snow-covered landscapes, wildlife paying visits, kids and dogs playing, and measurements of the snowfall.

Not quite a snow beard, but we'll take it.

It's not a dog running in the snow but rather a fox.

That's a lot of snow!

There was plenty of snow to make a snowman.

A shoutout to the crews clearing the roads
