Help Kids in Need So They Can Succeed

It might be hard to imagine, but many kids in Northern Virginia are hungry, especially on weekends when free meals are not available from their school. Or a child is cold all day because they don’t have appropriate cold weather clothing. Or an elementary student has never had a book of their own at home. Assistance League of Northern Virginia works with public schools in Fairfax and Prince William Counties and the City of Alexandria to help meet the basic needs of students in low-income families. But the nonprofit needs your help to expand its efforts. Won’t you give to help children succeed?

Each year the generosity of community donors and program grants have allowed Assistance League to provide more resources, but significant needs still remain. A donation to Assistance League’s Giving Tuesday campaign to Help Children in Need So They Can Succeed helps support meaningful change by addressing root causes and creating a better world.
