Help Provide Snacks For Students Who Can't Afford Them

Elementary Students Need An Afternoon Boost To Stay Focused

Elementary students have a long school day and lunch time is early for many. By the afternoon students need a snack to boost their energy and help them stay focused. Unfortunately, there are low income- students whose families are not able to afford snacks for their children. Assistance League of Northern Virginia works with our partner schools to address unmet needs through our ongoing monthly wish lists.

This month our wish list is focused on providing snacks for students who aren’t able to provide their own. The items listed have been identified by school counselors to take food allergies into account. Use this link: https://tiny.alnv.org/Snax or scan the QR code on the flyer to make a contribution. Your generous support will help students concentrate on classroom activities rather than hunger pangs. Please select Assistance League of Northern Virginia as the shipping address to assure prompt delivery.

Assistance League is grateful for the many community members who have supported our wish lists. All contributions make a difference and are appreciated.
