Here's How Much Rainfall Kingstowne Got This Weekend

Lots of rain fell on Kingstowne this weekend, and it looks like another flood watch is on the way.

KINGSTOWNE, VA—You don't need forecasters to tell you this weekend was a wet one for Kingstowne and the rest of the DC area. But if you're curious, the National Weather Service has rounded up rainfall totals for the deluge-like weather on Saturday, July 21.

Forecasters expect multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms from the afternoon to the evening. Already saturated grounds and high stream levels from recent rainfall combined with new rainfall could lead to flash flooding. The risk of flash flooding could continue through Wednesday and perhaps beyond.
