Home Invasion Robbery in Springfield Area: Police

Three teens knocked woman, 68, down and ransacked her home Friday afternoon in Springfield area, police say.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County Police report there was a home invasion robbery Friday afternoon in the Springfield area. Police responded Friday at about 2:30 p.m. to a home in the 6500 block of Lee Valley Drive (see map below).

A 68-year-old woman was home alone when three teenaged boys knocked on the door, police said. They came in without permission, pushed the victim down and ransacked the house, police said. They took an Xbox and fled on foot. The victim did not require medical attention.

The suspects could only be described as Hispanic, according to police.
