Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed at Gunpoint by Masked Suspect in Franconia: Police
Man delivering pizza was robbed at gunpoint early Saturday while attempting to deliver a pizza, police said.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A pizza delivery man was robbed early Saturday morning by a masked gunman in the Franconia area, according to Fairfax County Police.
The suspect demanded cash from the driver during the robbery, which took place shortly before 2 a.m. in the 6500 block of Gildar Street (see map below). The residential area is located between Franconia Road and Beulah Street.
The victim handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and was not injured, police said. The suspect was described as black, 20-25 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a slender build, according to police. He was wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt, black pants and a black ski mask.
