Police Investigating Theft at Sunglass Store at Springfield Town Center

On Thursday, police released a photo they say is of two people who allegedly concealed merchandise in shopping bags and left the store.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Police are looking for two female suspects who they say made off with merchandise from the Sunglass Hut store at Springfield Town Center.

Officers from the county's Franconia District station are investigating the grand larceny that occurred on Wednesday, May 5, at around 3:45 p.m., police said.

The employees of the Sunglass Hut store, located at 6500 Springfield Mall, reported that two women concealed merchandise in shopping bags and left the store, police said.

Police released the following descriptions: The suspects were described as black and approximately 20 to 25 years old. Both suspects were approximately 5 feet 3inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall and were wearing dark pants, one with a red sweatshirt, and one wearing a black sweatshirt.
