Resident Robbed at Gunpoint Tuesday Night in Kingstowne: Police
Fairfax County Police say the suspect followed a resident Tuesday night while he was going home in Kingstowne.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A local resident was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night after he was followed into the building where he lives, according to Fairfax County Police.
Police say the robbery took place Tuesday night shortly after 10 p.m., at a residence in the 7500 block of Ashby Lane, just off Kingstowne Village Parkway (see map below). The 61-year old resident was followed into his building by an unknown man, police said.
Once inside the building, the suspect displayed a gun and demanded money, according to police. The victim handed over cash and his cell phone, police said. The resident was not injured.

Police described the suspect as a black man wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt and long pants.
