Virginia Man Wins $100,000 Lottery Playing Numbers from Fortune-Telling Machine
George Flinn got some numbers from a fortune teller machine several years ago; he used them this month to play the lottery and won $100,000.

It sounds like something out of a movie. Cue the spooky music: A Virginia man, George Flinn of Powhatan, got some numbers from a fortune teller machine several years ago and used them earlier this month to win $100,000 playing a game called Cash 5 in the Virginia lottery.
“I had to look at it a half dozen times to make sure,” he told the Virginia Lottery as he claimed his prize. “I told my wife, and she thought I was messing with her.”
Flinn played his lucky numbers when he bought his ticket at Red Barn Food Store in Powhatan, for the Jan. 14 night drawing. Those winning numbers from the fortune teller machine: 9-15-18-23-34. Another bit of luck: The win comes at a good time -- Flinn said he just retired a few months ago.
