Weekend Bank Robbery in Franconia
Man robs local Wells Fargo Bank Saturday afternoon.
Fairfax County Police are investigating a Saturday afternoon bank robbery that occurred at the Wells Fargo Bank at 6110 Franconia Road.
According to the police report, the suspect demanded an undisclosed amount of cash from a teller. There were no reports of injuries at the time of the crime.
Officials describe the individual as an African-American male, approximately 6 feet tall and 220 pounds. He was dressed in a green reflective vest, white hard hat, sunglasses and gray sweatpants.
