Whiz Kid of the Week: Springfield Youth Club Basketball Team
Winners of the Fairfax County Youth Basketball League, 13U/8th Grade Division
This week's Whiz Kid of the Week is actually a group of talented young basketball players from the Springfield Youth Club that have many optimistic about the future of hoops in the South County region.
SYC's 13U/8th grade team defeated Herndon this weekend, 52-48 to win the Fairfax County Youth Basketball League championship. Jason Remy earned MVP honors.
