Boiler Room Fire Breaks Out at Bristow Monastery
Initial reports of the fire being at Linton Hall School turned out to be inaccurate, Prince William Fire officials said.

A small fire broke out at a monastery in western Prince William County this week causing minimum damage, fire officials said.
It happened Wednesday evening a 6:30 in a boiler room at the St. Benedict Monastery on Linton Hall Road, not far from the Braemar and Saybrooke communities in Bristow.

The damage was limited to the fan motor and no injuries were reported.
Initial reports indicated the fire was on the campus of the nearby Linton Hall School, which educates pupils from Kindergarten to the eighth grade, but a spokes for the monastery and school said that wasn't the case.
