Police: Robber Steals Woman's Necklace

A 44-year-old woman reported to police that a robber stole her necklace on Sept. 27. 

The incident occurred on the 10900 block of Coverstone Drive in Manassas around 5:58 p.m., police said. The 44-year-old female victim reported that a stranger approached her, and grabbed her necklace, which knocked her to the ground. The necklace broke and she reported minor injuries. 

Police are looking for a man between 18 and 20 years old, around 6-feet-tall, black, with a thin build, who was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and black cap.
