City of Manassas Police Department

. Manassas City Police are investigating recent thefts in the local area. A trailer was stolen from in front of a house on the 10000 block of Amberleigh Court between midnight and 9 a.m. May 2. Power tools were stolen from a locked shed and from Henry's Auto Auction. 

. Police said that officers who responded to a report of a commotion found two men breaking into an apartment on Devonshire Court. 

Prince William County Police Department

Treasurer Accused of Using PTO Funds for Personal Purchases. The treasurer of the Glenkirk Elementary Parent Teacher Organization in Gainesville was arrested Monday amid accusations that she embezzled funds from the PTO, police said.
