Crow Causes 1,300+ Power Outages In Manassas

Manassas city staff are responding to nearly 1,400 power outages tied to a crow.

MANASSAS, VA — A crow caused power outages affecting a portion of the City of Manassas on Wednesday, according to the city government.

As of 11:27 a.m., the city government reported a part of the city's west side was experiencing power outages. The city's outage map shows nearly 1,400 outages.

City staff said crow entered a main power unit and caused a power short. As of 11:39 a.m., the city said power has been restored.
