Final First Friday Of 2025 In Old Town Manassas Offers Thanksgiving Theme

First Friday, a block party with on-street alcohol consumption, live music and other activities, will have its last event of 2025.

MANASSAS, VA — It's time for one final First Friday in Old Town Manassas before the event takes a break during the colder season.

First Friday will be held Friday, Nov. 7, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a "Thanks for Giving" theme. During the block party, some downtowns streets are closed as pedestrians can sip and stroll while enjoying live music. The city has a Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area permit, allowing consumption of alcoholic beverages on designated streets from participating restaurant vendors. There are also children's activities in the Main Kids Zone at the Harris Pavilion and at some businesses.

Live music locations include West Street by CJ Finz Battle Street at Monza and by Mariachi’s, Main Street by Sinistral and Doug’s Deli & Taproom, and Center Street DJ by Studio Luxe Boutique.

Street closures for First Friday include Center Street from Grant to East, West Street from Church to the Railroad tracks, Battle Street from Church to the railroad tracks, and Main Street from Church to the railroad tracks. Bathrooms are located inside the Train Station waiting room, at the Harris Pavilion, West Street on the pavilion lawn across from CJ Finz, on the corner of Battle & Church (behind Monza), the parking lot near ARTfactory, Main Street at the end of the walkway across from Sinistral, and across from Grounds Central Station.

The First Friday hiatus will not be for long, as the events usually return monthly starting in February through November.
