Fire Causes $35,000 in Damages to Manassas Shed

The Prince William County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the incident.

A fire destroyed a backyard shed in Manassas Thursday afternoon, leaving $35,000 in damages in its wake.

It happened at 4:30 p.m. on the 9400 block of Hensley Road in Manassas, Prince William County fire officials said in a press release issued Friday morning.

The first firefighters on the scene reported seeing a heavy fire in the detached shed. Prince William County Police assisted in scene management while firefighters worked to put out the flames.
