Doc Drop: Manassas Finance Committee to Discuss Van Metre Proffers

The Manassas Finance Committee has two items on the agenda for Wednesday's meeting. They'll be considering a $42,387 grant reward for an airport exercise and training for the Fire and Rescue Department.

The committee will also discuss amending the budget to adjust Van Metre Homes costs for sewer to its site at Old Towne Manassas. The developers were obligated to pay to improve sewer service connected to the development, but underdeveloped the site, reducing the need for sewer upgrades. 

The Finance Committee meets at 5:30 p.m. in the second floor conference room at City Hall.
