Grave Plot Lottery, Changes to Manassas School Bullying Policy and Concerts at the Harris Pavilion

- Talks of the graveyard lottery continue in Manassas on Monday at 5:30 p.m. when council considers a pair of items related to the transfer, redemption and resale of permits for burial space in the Manassas Cemetery. City officials intend to hold a lottery in the coming weeks to help them decide who gets one of the limited new burial plots that will be added to the cemetery during an expansion project.
- Meet Cathy Benner, the new principal of Osbourn High School, Monday at 7 p.m. at the school.
- The Dixie Power Trio will perform at Harris Pavilion Saturday aspart of the Center for the Arts-at the Candy Factory's SummerSounds Concert series. The performance is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. rain or shine.
- At it's Tuesday meeting, the Manassas City School Board is expected to vote and approve a change in the school division's bullying, hazing, assault and battery and threats against students and employees. The meeting begins at 7 p.m.
