Greater Manassas St. Patrick’s Day Parade Marks 25th Year In 2025

MANASSAS, VA — Get out your green gear and show your Irish pride as the Greater Manassas St. Patrick’s Day Parade returns for a 25th year.

The St. Patrick's Day Parade will be held in downtown Manassas from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 8. Spectators can expect music, bagpipes, Irish dancing and other entertainment in the parade. Parade spectators are encouraged to browse special promotions in stores, restaurants and other businesses on parade day.

The parade starts at Prescott Avenue and Quarry Road, continuing on Prescott Ave around the corner onto Center Street. On Center Street, the parade continues to West Street, where there is a reviewing stand. The route ends around the entrance to the Harris Pavilion.

Parade organizers encourage spectators to arrive an hour early to get a spot along the parade route. Low-profile chairs are allowed. Spectators are asked to follow the direction of the parade marshals wearing yellow safety vests and stay out of the roadway during the parade. Spectators are asked to use caution on the active railroad near the parade route.

Parking is available in public parking lots around downtown Manassas and on side streets along the parade route. Parts of Center Street, Prescott Avenue, and Quarry Road will be closed for the parade and parade lineup. Parking is not allowed on private residential or commercial property, as towing may be enforced.

The parade is held by the nonprofit Inisfail, Inc., created to run the parade each year after a successful first year in 2000.
