Hit-And-Run Driver Sought In Manassas: Police
Authorities are looking for a hit-and-run driver who sent a jogger over a bridge and onto a rocky embankment Friday in Manassas: PWC Police.

MANASSAS, VA—Authorities are looking for a hit-and-run driver who sent a jogger over a bridge and onto a rocky embankment Friday on Lake Jackson Drive near Dumfries Road, according to Prince William County Police. The vehicle may have damage to the front-right side of the hood, headlight and/or front bumper.
Shortly after 5:30 p.m., police went to the area for a possible missing person. An 18-year-old man's parents said he called them to say he was hurt and couldn't remember anything. After an extensive search, police found him over the side of a bridge embankment.
They found that the man was running on the east side of Lake Jackson Drive when he was struck by an unknown vehicle sometime between 4:45 and 5:24 p.m. He fell off the bridge and landed on a rocky embankment below. The vehicle left the scene, and the man was taken to a nearby hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
