MANASSAS, VA — Cold, windy conditions were present when Prince William County firefighters tackled a fire in the Buckhall neighborhood early Thursday. There were no reported injuries.

Around 3:28 a.m., Prince William County Fire and Rescue responded to the 9900 block of Suheil Road for a fire near a single-family home. Firefighters found fire quickly spreading throughout the home. The windy conditions and extent of the blaze prompted firefighters to request a second alarm. All residents had safely evacuated from the home.

The home had extensive damage, and the building official deemed it unsafe to occupy. Three people were displaced. The fire marshal's office is still investigating the cause of the fire.
