Indecent Exposures Target Women In Dale City, Manassas: Police

A pair of indecent exposures were reported to Prince William County Police on the same day.

MANASSAS, VA — A pair of indecent exposures with female victims on Saturday are being investigated in Manassas and Dale City. Police have since made an arrest for the Dale City incident.

Around 6:53 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to the first indecent exposure at the Westgate Apartments in the 8000 block of Ashland Avenue in Manassas. Police say a 25-year-old woman was walking to her vehicle in the parking lot when she observed an unknown man expose himself toward her. There was no physical contact or injuries reported from the encounter.

The suspect was described as a heavier set man with a dark complexion around 5 foot 7 and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored pants and a “surgical” style mask.

The other indecent exposure was reported around 2:43 p.m. Saturday in the 5500 block of Mapledale Plaza in Dale City. According to police, a 35-year-old woman was in the parking lot when an unknown man approached, exposed himself toward her and made inappropriate gestures. Witnesses intervened, leading to the man fleeing on foot. Police searched the area but could not locate the suspect.

Police have made an arrest Tuesday for the Dale City indecent exposure. Marvin Ismel Escobar Medrano, 35, of Woodbridge, was charged with indecent exposure and was released on a court summons.
