Kitchen Fire in Gainesville Home Injures One
The fire broke out Tuesday evening, Prince William County firefighters said.
A kitchen fire at a Gainesville home Tuesday caused about $1,000 in damage and injured one person, a Prince William County Fire Department spokeswoman said in a release.
It happened at 6:30 p.m. at a single family home on the 14000 block of Plantation Mill Court, according to reports.
Firefighters arrived on the scene and quickly extinguished the blaze.

One person went to the hospital for minor injuries, but was later released, fire department spokeswoman Kim Hylander wrote in the release.
The Prince William County Fire Marshal's Office is investigation the cause of the blaze.
