The Hylton center is in Manassas on the George Mason University Campus.
The long-awaited opening performance of the Hylton Performing Arts Center season is here.
Noted pianist and conductor Peter Nero will lead a fusion performance of popular favorites and classical works in Saturday night's "Classical Connections" program.
The performance begins at 8 p.m. in the Hylton center's 1,123 seat Merchant Hall. Merchant also features 27 private boxes situated over three levels of the theater.
If you can't make it to Saturday's performance, the next one is the Oct. 5 production of "Fahrenheit 451" by the British-American touring group, Aquila Theatre.
It's an adaption of the 20th century classic novel about society gone awry by Ray Bradbury.
