Man Charged In Manassas Area Homicide: Police
Prince William County Police say an altercation resulted in a fatal shooting of a man and charges for the suspect.

MANASSAS, VA — Prince William County Police made an arrest after a homicide Saturday in the Manassas area.
Police had responded around 9:09 p.m. Saturday to the 8000 block of Stream Walk Lane and found a victim with multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Based on an investigation, police believe the suspect and victim had a physical altercation that escalated. Police say the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim multiple times during the struggle.

Police searched the area but did not initially find the suspect. Officers located the suspect early the next morning.
Zahir Adbul-Rahman Mujahid, 38, of no fixed address, was charged with murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He is being held without bond.

The victim was identified as Horace Roy Johnson, 45, of no fixed address. The homicide was not random, according to police.
