MANASSAS, VA—Authorities are looking for an unknown man who inexplicably pointed a gun at a woman Thursday, June 27, at the Portsmouth commuter lot on Williamson Boulevard, according to Prince William County Police. He's described as 5-10, 140 pounds with short black hair, and was wearing a light blue t-shirt and a large silver watch.

Shortly after 4 a.m., police responded to the commuter lot for a reported "brandishing." A 32-year-old woman said she had briefly stopped at the lot because of car issues and rolled down her windows. While sitting in her parked vehicle, the stranger approached her open window and pointed a gun at her.

No shots were fired, and the woman immediately fled the area in her vehicle and contacted police. The unknown man fled on foot and was last seen headed toward Portsmouth Avenue and Ashland Avenue. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
