Standoff Follows Armed Fight At Manassas Home; 2 Arrested (patch.com) — Police say two people face charges after an armed dispute at a Manassas home on Carlton Drive led to a barricade situation and hours-long standoff. Officers detained one suspect nearby, negotiated with the second inside the home, then arrested him and recovered weapons and suspected narcotics; one victim suffered a minor wrist cut but declined treatment.

Prince William supervisors approve $4 million land sale to bolster Innovation District near Manassas (insidenova.com) — A new $4 million land sale will expand the Innovation District near Manassas with 100,000 square feet of new flex and tech space, potentially adding 200–300 jobs in fields like life sciences and defense tech. Prince William officials say the project, tied to George Mason University’s SciTech campus, is meant to attract growing companies and strengthen the local tax base.
