Man Sought For Strangling Woman In Manassas: Police

Authorities are looking for a man who strangled a woman Monday night a home in Manassas, according to Prince William County Police.

MANASSAS, VA—Authorities are looking for a man who strangled a woman Monday night a home in the 7600 block of Shelley Lane, according to Prince William County Police. Juan Antonio Julina-Garcia, 31, of the aforementioned area, is described as white, 5-9, 170 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He's wanted for strangulation and domestic assault and battery.

Around 11:45 p.m., police went to the scene for a reported domestic incident. The woman, 32, said she and Julina-Garcia were involved in an argument that escalated. He then assaulted her and put her in a choke hold. She finally got away and contacted police, and he fled.

Attempts to find him have been fruitless, and anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
