Man Terrorizes Customers At Best Buy In Manassas: Police

A man was arrested after terrorizing customers and employees inside a Best Buy in Manassas, according to Prince William County Police.

MANASSAS, VA—A man was arrested early Wednesday night after terrorizing customers and employees inside the Best Buy at 7665 Sudley Road, according to Prince William County Police. Reginald Andre Wright, 45, of the 8000 block of Ashland Avenue in Manassas, was charged with three counts of assault and battery, one count of misdemeanor destruction of property, two counts of disorderly conduct, one count of resisting arrest and one count of intoxication in public.

Shortly after 5:30 p.m., police went to the store after a wild report of a disorderly man. They found that Wright had entered the business yelling at customers and acting erratically. He then went behind some cash registers, assaulted an employee and then began walking around the store yelling at customers.

Wright then assaulted a manager before damaging two display cases for cell phones. After that, he assaulted yet another employee before being taken to the ground and restrained by four store employees. So when police arrived, that's the scene with which they were confronted.

When officers tried to arrest him, he refused to obey their orders and a struggle ensued, during which he hit a cop in the face. More officers arrived, and Wright finally was subdued and taken to jail.
