Manassas General Election Early Voting To Open: What To Know

MANASSAS, VA — Manassas and Prince William County voters will have Virginia House of Delegates, Virginia governor and other key races on the ballot on Nov. 4, 2025.

What's on the ballot will vary by precinct. City of Manassas voters will have commissioner of revenue, treasurer, Virginia governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general and Virginia House of Delegates 20th District on the ballot.

Prince William County voters will have Virginia governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general as well as a Virginia House of Delegates seat on the ballot. The Town of Occoquan has a special election for a Town Council seat. Gainesville District voters will have a special election for Gainesville District supervisor after the death of Supervisor Bob Weir.

Early voting will open on Friday, Sept. 19 and continue through Saturday, Nov. 1. On Election Day (Tuesday, Nov. 4), polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The City of Manassas has provided a sample ballot for city voters. In Prince William County, voters should refer to the Prince William County Office of Elections for the sample ballots in their precinct. To check your district and assigned precinct, use the Virginia Department of Elections citizen portal.

How to Vote Early

In-person early voting will run from Sept. 19 through Nov. 1. An accepted form of ID is required to vote in person in Virginia.

In the City of Manassas, the Office of Voter Registration at 9025 Center Street, Manassas, will be the early voting location. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays, and additional days include Sunday, Oct. 19, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 25 and Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Prince William County Office of Elections at 9250 Lee Ave, Suite 1, Manassas, will open on Friday, Sept. 19 through Nov. 1. Additional early voting locations opening Sunday, Oct. 19 through Nov. 1 are A.J. Ferlazzo Building, 15941 Donald Curtis Dr, Woodbridge; Brentsville Courthouse, 12229 Bristow Rd, Bristow; DMV Woodbridge, 2731 Caton Hill Rd, Woodbridge; Dumfries Community Center, 17757 Main St, Dumfries; and Haymarket Gainesville Library, 14870 Lightner Rd, Haymarket.

Prince William County early voting hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and extended hours on Wednesdays until 7 p.m.

To vote by mail, voters can apply through the Virginia Department of Election website with information like their Virginia Driver’s License or DMV-issued ID card, Social Security number, date of birth, address and contact information. Voters may also seek a paper application from their elections office — in the City of Manassas or Prince William County. The deadline to request a mail-in ballot is 5 p.m. on Oct. 24.

Once they receive the ballot in the mail, completed ballots can be returned by mail or to your elections office in the City of Manassas or Prince William County. The deadline to return a mail ballot is 7 p.m. on Nov. 4. Mailed ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 4 and received by noon Friday on the Friday following the election. Ballot tracking is available.

How to Vote on Election Day

The deadline for voter registration or updating your information is Oct. 24. However, same-day registration is available in Virginia beyond the registration deadline, allowing voters to cast a provisional ballot. Check your registration status or register to vote through the Virginia Department of Elections citizen portal. Voters may also print and mail a paper voter registration to their elections office in the City of Manassas or Prince William County.

To vote on Election Day, head to your assigned polling place between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4. Use the Virginia Department of Elections citizen portal to find your polling place. An acceptable form of ID is required to vote in person.

The Prince William County Office of Elections says people with disabilities and seniors can vote curbside. Voters can pull up to the designated parking spaces at their polling place, and polling place workers will assist.
